Update 0.9.0: Certificates
Finishing a course now yields a certificate — with a number that gives nothing away, publicly verifiable without an account.
Neu:
A certificate of its own:
The certificate is its own record, not a checkbox on the enrolment. It is created on completion and stays unchanged afterwards, even if the course is rebuilt later.
Triggered on lesson completion:
Not on every progress report — otherwise the check would run every second without anything being able to change.
The number gives nothing away:
It is not sequential. A 000007 would tell every recipient they are the seventh graduate.
Verification without an account:
An employer shown the certificate has no access here. The public check answers with valid, course and date — nothing more.
No PDF, and we say so:
A PDF would need a renderer on the server and would lose exactly the verifiability. Anyone needing a file prints the page.
