10. Appointment Booking via Cal.com

We use Cal.com, a service of Cal.com, Inc. (USA), for online appointment booking. The booking calendar only loads after you actively start it via the “Load calendar” button (two-click solution). Only then is data (e.g. your IP address) transferred to Cal.com; the service may set technically required cookies, and data may be transferred to the USA.
The legal basis for loading the calendar is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TTDSG); for the associated transfer to the USA, Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. Data you provide when booking (name, email address, selected slot, optional details) is processed to conduct the consultation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures).
