Writing instead of filming

Not every piece of content belongs in a video. A materials list, a code snippet, a summary to look up again — people would rather read those than have them read aloud. So every lesson can carry text, with or without video.

The editor

Headings, paragraphs, lists, emphasis, links, quotes and code blocks. It is the same editor foundation as in the house content system — mature, but without its baggage.

Why no block builder

A lesson is structured prose, not a layout project. Offer blocks and you get lessons that fall apart on a phone and become expensive to maintain. The price of this decision is stated plainly: unusual layouts are not possible.
