A freshly created lesson is a draft. That sounds minor and is the difference between calm work and time pressure: while you are writing or the video is still processing, nobody who paid can see it.

The course says what is missing

Before publishing, the course shows what is still open — a lesson without content, a chapter without lessons, a missing cover. Not as a prohibition but as a list. You decide which of it bothers you.

Only the finished becomes visible

A course can be published while individual lessons are still drafts. Buyers then see the course with the finished lessons — not a row of empty pages promising something is coming.
