Field groups
Order fields instead of scrolling
As soon as a collection has more than a handful of fields, editing becomes tedious: everything sits in one long column, related things are scattered. Field groups solve that — you bundle fields into named sections such as “Header”, “Prices” or “SEO”.
Structure the editor understands
Each group can have a colour, icon and description. In the editor, groups appear as collapsible sections: editors see the structure first, not a desert of fields — and only open what they need. Table of contents and publish check follow the same structure.
Organising is delegable
Grouping is its own permission: you can give it to individual team members who arrange their input masks themselves — without being able to change the data model. Collections without groups look exactly as before; nothing needs migrating.
