Collections
What is a collection?
A collection is a container for similar content — like a tidy drawer with fixed compartments. A “Blog” collection has, for example, title, image, text and category; a “Team” collection has name, photo and position. You define the compartments once, and your team fills them in the same clean way every time.
Three kinds, matching the content
- List — lots of the same thing: articles, products, references.
- Single page — something that exists only once: the home page, global settings like the footer.
- Tree — nested content with parent and child items, such as documentation or navigation. (This knowledge base is itself such a tree.)
Structure that enforces order
Because every piece of content has fixed fields, everything looks consistent and nothing is forgotten — no “one article has no image, another no teaser”. That saves correction loops and keeps the presence professional.
Quick start with AI
You don't have to build a structure laboriously by hand: Synapse can generate it by AI suggestion — you describe what you need, the system creates the fields. You review and adjust, done.
