Field types
The right field for every piece of content
Each content area consists of fields — and for every kind of information there is the right field. So you don't enter data into an unsuitable text field, but into one that knows exactly what it is.
From simple to flexible
It ranges from simple fields (text, number, date, yes/no, choice, colour) through media (images, files) and links (an article references an author) to flexible building blocks for complex pages.
Building blocks for demanding content
Three especially powerful types: repeater fields (a list of similar blocks, e.g. several opening hours), layout blocks (freely combinable sections for individual pages) and variants (choose one of several options). With these even rich pages can be maintained without becoming chaotic.
What you gain
Suitable fields mean clean data, fewer input errors and an interface that takes work off your team instead of making it harder. Which fields an area has you define yourself and can change at any time.
