Tasks
What is a task?
A task is a concrete to-do with clear ownership: call back, send an offer, follow up. Tasks usually hang on a contact, so the connection is never lost — you always know whom a task belongs to.
Status & due date
Every task has a status (you define the stages, e.g. open / in progress / done) and can have a due date. So it's visible what's due today and what's overdue — nothing slips through anymore.
More than a to-do list
Tasks can be organised on boards, broken down into subtasks and annotated with comments (more on this in the feature area). So a simple list becomes a tool that also carries multi-step matters.
Why this makes the difference
“I'll do that later” is the most common reason for lost customers. When every promise becomes a task with a due date and an owner, it actually happens — reliably, across the whole team.
