Update 0.13.0: Building courses, Lyceum
Updated
Text lessons, material as PDF, uploads that resume, and an editor that tells you what is still missing before you publish.
New:
Text lessons:
Alongside video lessons you create text lessons in the curriculum; the text keeps its paragraphs and counts its reading time as the duration. Such a lesson only counts as finished once it has readable text.
Material as PDF and more:
You upload PDF, ZIP, images, audio and video as material, named after the file. An interrupted upload can be resumed from the missing part, and a file that is too large is turned away before uploading, with the permitted size.
A course starts with its name:
A new course asks for its name first instead of appearing as an untitled draft. Until it is first published, its address follows along when you change the title.
What is missing shows at the field:
If the summary, a proper course name or chapter names are missing, the editor lists them and marks the field; one click takes you there. A refused publish also says which details are missing.
Publishing with every finished lesson:
The first publish takes all finished draft lessons along, so no course goes live with an empty curriculum. Afterwards a link leads straight to the offer for that course.
Notifying buyers once there are buyers:
The notice about new lessons only appears once someone has bought the course and only counts lessons added since then.
