Update 0.15.0: Completion and certificate, Lyceum
Updated
Certificates arrive without opting in, carry your name as issuer and their verification address, and text-only courses can now be completed.
New:
Certificates without opting in:
Anyone who completes a course now receives the certificate automatically, including for courses finished earlier, plus an email once it is ready. The learning area lists every certificate with a link.
Text courses can be completed:
Text and material lessons end with a button that marks them as done. That way a course without video also reaches completion and its certificate.
The certificate waits for the name:
If the account has no name, the completion card asks for it before the certificate is issued. Certificates issued earlier without a name have it filled in.
Your name as issuer:
You enter the course provider's name and logo in the settings; they appear on every new certificate, in the header of the learning platform and in emails to learners. Certificates already issued keep the name from back then.
Verifiable on paper too:
The certificate shows the full address where it can be verified, inside its frame. So a printout or a cropped copy can still be checked.
Completion shows what follows:
Once everything is done, the learning area puts the certificate and a further course at the top. In the back office the learner view links the certificate of every completed course.
