Work together without data loss

When two people edit the same content at the same time, in many systems the last one overwrites the first one's work — often you only notice when your own change is gone. GawendaCMS prevents exactly that.

Automatic lock

When you open content for editing, it's reserved for you. Others immediately see that it's being edited, and by whom. When you leave the page, the system releases the lock again by itself after a short while.

Collaboration in real time

Anyone who still wants to join sends a short request; the current editor accepts or declines. This happens live, without anyone having to reload the page — coordinated instead of chaotic.

Why this matters in a team

The more people maintain content, the more important it is that no one's work is lost. This security takes the stress out of working together — proven in the daily use of our own products.

Locks are binding

The reservation now also applies on the server: as long as someone is editing an entry, no one else can overwrite or delete it — not even via detours. In the entry list and in the editor you see live who is working right now, down to the typing indicator on the individual field. Taking over someone else’s lock only works deliberately, with a confirmation dialog.
