Update 1.41: Keyboard, phone and speed, Mesa
Updated
Mesa can be used throughout from the keyboard, feels familiar on a phone and opens entries with less waiting.
New:
Keyboard throughout:
Menus, tabs, tables, tree, media and calendar work without a mouse, and after each action the focus stays where you are working. Tree entries, linked entries and fields are reordered with the arrow keys.
On the phone like a chat app:
The sidebar slides in from the left and closes with a swipe, and the bar along the bottom is gone. The bottom edge now only holds what the screen needs, in the editor for instance Save.
Details beside the list:
A click on a row opens the entry beside the list, with status, content, recent changes and usage, and ↑ and ↓ move on through the list, even across page boundaries. Settings now have a search field of their own.
In your language:
Numbers, sizes, dates and times follow the interface language, field names appear translated, and the Polish version is more complete. The German texts use the informal form throughout.
Readable and calm:
Quiet text keeps a contrast ratio of 4.5:1 on every surface, and red now only stands for errors. If your system is set to reduce motion, animations stay still.
Entries open faster:
Of 24 loading steps when opening an entry, seven were unnecessary; they are gone, and history and usage arrive in one go. Browser tabs in the background no longer reload every minute.
