Revisions: Mesa

No fear of overwriting

Every change to a piece of content is saved as an earlier version (a revision). So nothing is lost, and no one has to hesitate to change something for fear of destroying what came before.

Back with one click

Has an error crept in, or was the old version better after all? You view earlier versions and restore them with one click. No searching through emails for “the last good version”.

Traceable within the team

Who changed what and when stays documented. That helps especially when several people maintain content: misunderstandings resolve themselves instead of ending in blame.

Restore without risk

Restoring asks first and creates a history entry of its own. Every restore can thus itself be undone. In the history, links appear as titles instead of numbers, and you reach it directly from the editor. Saving without a real change no longer creates an empty version.
