With templates the design ends where the template ends. Spacing, fonts, the behaviour on mobile — much of it is predefined and can only be corrected with effort (or not at all). The result is almost right, but never exactly what you wanted.

The classic problem that disappears

You may know it: you upload a logo or a new image — and suddenly the whole layout shifts because the theme expects a different size. In a programmed site every element is set deliberately; nothing “slides” out of control. You can change content without fear of breaking the site.

Why this is more than looks
