The time does not go into writing
Most of the time spent on a website is not spent writing. It is spent distributing: the title into the title field, the teaser into the next field, the description for Google into a third. Then the same again in English. For twenty pages that is a full working day, and at the end nobody has said anything new.
Many people now let ChatGPT or another language model write their texts. The distributing stays. The AI returns one long block of text, and splitting it into fields is still your job.
How it works in Mesa
In Mesa you open a collection, for example services or blog, and click “Import content”. Five steps follow:
Mesa writes instructions for your language model. They state which fields the collection has, which of them are required and in which languages you publish. You only say what to write about and how many entries you need.
You give the instructions to your language model together with your material. Material can be anything: a voice message you record in the language model’s app, a few bullet points, an old proposal as a PDF.
The language model returns the entries in exactly the format Mesa expects. You upload the file or paste the text.
Mesa shows every entry as a preview. If a required field is missing or a value does not fit, the entry is marked “Check”, with the reason next to it. You fill the gap right there.
You save everything as a draft or publish straight away. Entries that still miss something are saved as drafts instead of going live half finished.
Mesa does not send your content to any language model. You decide which one you use and what you give it.
What it does in practice
At Arda Media, a social media agency in Cologne, this produced 20 pages for services, cities and industries in 10 minutes. At Domanh SFX, 21 products went in on the first day, also through a set of instructions.
It saves the most time with several languages. The instructions ask for the languages up front. The language model returns German, English and Polish in one pass, every field in its place. You proofread instead of copying three times.
What the AI does not do for you
The AI does not know your business. It sorts what you give it. Give it three bullet points and you get three bullet points, nicely worded. The substance comes from you: the finished project, the question customers keep asking, the price.
That is why a person always reads and approves at the end. It does not have to be the person who imports: in Mesa, anyone who may only write needs an approval for every publication.
Why you would want that many pages in the first place is explained in Why a one-page website costs you customers on Google.
