What is Tatra
An e-commerce engine on your server: three parts, one core, and why the model needs no platform rent.
Three parts, one core
Tatra consists of the admin panel (catalogue, inventory, orders, prices, customers), the storefront (the shop your buyers see) and the engine behind them with your database. Everything runs on your server under your addresses.
Measured, not claimed
The feature set was measured against the source code of a leading open-source commerce platform — domain by domain. Result: the breadth (products, prices, inventory, orders, payment, taxes, regions, channels) is there; a few speciality depths are deliberately missing and listed in the status.
Where Tatra is deliberately different
Multi-tenant from day one: several shops run structurally separated on one installation. Inventory uses a real lock against overselling — two simultaneous purchases of the last item end with exactly one buyer. And instead of a foreign runtime everything runs on the house stack that CMS and CRM use too.
