From Template to Fullstack SFX Portfolio

Starting Point: A Template Website Without a Profile

Tom Domanh – better known as Domanh SFX – is a specialist in special effects: make-up, prosthetics, creature design, and props for film and television productions. With passion and meticulous attention to detail, he brings stories to life through practical effects.

But his old website hardly reflected this craft:

  • a simple template-based site,

  • no dedicated pages for services or projects,

  • no brand identity,

  • no call-to-actions,

  • and a gallery that didn’t showcase his artistry.

The result: little visibility, hardly any inquiries, and no platform to underline Tom’s professionalism and quality.

The Process: From Idea to Digital Brand

Our goal: to create a true brand platform – a website that not only informs but makes the world of Domanh SFX tangible and engaging.

Our focus areas:

  1. Develop brand identity – colors, typography, and visuals that combine creativity and professionalism.

  2. Build structure – clear pages for Services, Projects, About, and Contact.

  3. Interaction & microfeatures – animations, hover effects, and structured overviews.

  4. Galleries & project showcases – with before/after, close-ups, and behind-the-scenes insights.

  5. Clear call-to-actions – for inquiries and direct contact.

  6. Custom CMS – easy content updates without technical knowledge.

The Result: A Platform That Lives

Today, domanh-sfx.com stands as a full-scale portfolio: modern, clear, and full of personality.

  • More visibility – especially for production companies and studios.

  • More interaction – through storytelling and engaging microfeatures.

  • More freedom – update content and projects independently.

  • More identity – a brand that reflects quality and creativity.

👉 Domanh SFX now has a website as unique as his effects.
