Digital transformation for Leipzig LWV

Introduction

Leipziger Fach- und Veranstaltungsdienste (LWV) is a young company run by a two-person team. Before our collaboration, LWV had no digital presence: no website, no structured brand identity, and only a standalone logo. The objective of our work was to deliver a complete, professional foundation for the company’s online start — from brand identity and a modern, multi-page website to social media assets and a fully integrated career portal.

Challenge

The initial situation was minimal. Without a website or active social channels, LWV was practically invisible online for potential clients and applicants. There was no structured way to present the team, services, or job openings, and no streamlined contact options beyond phone and email. For a growing business, that meant limited reach and real constraints on growth. The challenge was to design and implement a digital solution that would be professional, scalable, and sustainable over the long term.

Implementation

Brand Identity and Design

We began by developing a clear visual identity. The design direction is angular and futuristic — a deliberate choice to project the company’s professionalism while standing out from conventional, often template-driven web presences. Animated details, contemporary typography, and the use of stack cards for service presentation add dynamism and clarity. The result is a consistent look and feel that runs as a visual through-line across the entire site.

Website Architecture

The site structure is organized so that visitors can quickly find what they need. The “About Us” page introduces the team in a confident, concise manner. Dedicated subpages provide detailed descriptions of the offered services, while the contact area opens multiple channels — including direct call buttons and an intuitive contact form. A focused bio-link landing page complements the architecture by aggregating essentials such as Google reviews, the official website link, and fast contact options, making it ideal for social-media profiles.

Career Portal

A standout feature is the career portal, integrated directly with the CMS. It provides capabilities typically found on large job platforms: candidates can filter vacancies by location, employment type, and working hours (e.g., part-time or full-time). Each job has its own detail page that lays out all relevant information with clarity. If no suitable role is listed, applicants can submit an unsolicited application in just a few steps. From LWV’s perspective, the CMS integration enables straightforward creation and maintenance of job postings.

Social Media Content

In parallel with the website, we professionalized LWV’s social presence. This included tailored highlight covers, initial Instagram stories, and the aforementioned bio-link landing page. Together, these assets help expand reach on social channels while channeling interested users efficiently toward the website.

Technical Implementation

Where many agencies default to WordPress, we delivered a fully custom-coded solution. The outcome is a highly performant website without plugin dependencies. All forms are built with bespoke email templates; SEO tags are precisely implemented without third-party add-ons. With a 100/100 SEO score and top marks for accessibility, the site meets modern standards across the board. We also created a dedicated repository so future developers can continue working on the codebase seamlessly, without spinning up a new project. The entire system is engineered for consistency across devices and screen sizes, ensuring a scalable experience from day one.

Comparison with Standard Solutions

Template-based WordPress setups often lead to visual inconsistency and plugin overhead. In contrast, LWV now has a bespoke site precisely aligned with the brand. It is not only more distinctive visually, but also faster, more secure, and future-proof. The career portal in particular demonstrates the advantages of custom development: this level of filtering and detail, combined with CMS workflow, is difficult to achieve reliably with generic plugins.

Results

LWV now presents itself online in a professional, modern, and clearly structured manner. Prospective clients can quickly understand services and find the right contact options, while candidates benefit from a career portal that is both comprehensive and easy to use. Combined with social content and optimized indexing on Google, LWV has received a complete digital starter package that lays the groundwork for sustainable growth.

Conclusion

This collaboration illustrates how even a small organization can build a strong digital foundation through a targeted transformation. For LWV, it meant moving from invisibility to a cohesive brand identity, a high-performance website, and the tools necessary for ongoing visibility and success — all built to scale and last.
